“POTENTIALLY” POSITIVE NEWS…😁😁😁

As many of you know, all of CRY’s screening days since the middle of March have been postponed/cancelled, and it looks like everything booked for December/January will also be postponed

Our Foundation has had 5 screening days postponed

In total, CRY estimate there are 25,000 on their waiting list nationwide wanting to get their heart’s checked

A couple of weeks ago, we put out an appeal for potential venues as CRY’s requirements for screening locations were now much different to those pre-COVID

I am pleased to report that, on the back of that appeal, we have already visited 2 venues that we feel can comply with all the requirements. We are also due to visit a 3rd venue in early January.

Today, I had a long telephone conversation with a representative from CRY and they will shortly be arranging for one of their managers to visit the two locations we have identified to make sure they agree they are suitable.

Should the locations fit all the requirements, there is now a “tentative” possibility that screenings MAY be able to resume in February/March, obviously still subject to a lot of other factors.

However, having personally visited the 2 locations myself, and knowing that CRY will also be looking at them, I am the most positive I have been for 9 months that things may just be improving…

This is only my opinion, there is nothing definite or concrete yet, but just to have something positive to look forward to would be fantastic

So, to everyone on our ECG waiting list, and to everyone who has supported us over the last 2.5 years (and who continue to support us), all I can say is “keep watching this page, I will keep everyone updated”

Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
