‘Guess the Tea Bags in Pot’ competition raises £545.00!!!

First of all, a HUGE thank you for everyone who entered our ‘A Cuppa For Carli – Guess how many teabags in the teapot’ fundraiser over the last month –  we’re so grateful for your support and in helping us still mark the occasion by raising some money in a tea themed fundraiser.

As you’ll have seen yesterday – the lucky winner of the two fantastic prizes is Genevieve Jackson with her guess of 125 – which was the closest guess to the correct total of 126 tea bags. Well done Genevieve – excellent tea bag guessing skills!

We’re so happy to reveal that the money raised is £545 – we’re well chuffed by the total raised and we’re hoping, as with our previous events, that we can also get the total donation matched – so it’s possible it could rise to £1045!

We also want to say a big thank you to Hugo’s Pantry in Leigh on Sea who have kindly donated the £50 voucher to the competition – please give them a like on Facebook and Instagram (& buy some tasty baked goods!) for being so kind and supporting the charity.

Thank you again to everyone for joining in – we really appreciate your support during what is a very difficult time for everyone, so it means even more to Carli’s family and to us that you are continuing to support our afternoon tea event in it’s temporary online format!

We hope A Cuppa For Carli will be back next year and that we’ll be able to raise more money in Carli’s memory & honour her love of a good cuppa, in person, with you all at The Camelia again.

Love,
Megan and Danielle
